RETURNS AND REFUNDS

LEGAL FRAMEWORK

According to the provisions of art. 9 paragraph (1) of the O.U.G. no. 34/2014 regarding the rights of consumers in the contracts concluded with the professionals, the consumer benefits from a period of 14 days (calendar) to cancel the contract concluded remotely (as is the case with your contract with TAGLI WORKSHOP), without having to justify his decision.

According to the provisions of art. 16 lit. c) from O.U.G. no. 34/2014, regarding the distance contracts and the contracts concluded outside the commercial premises, however, the products made according to the specifications presented by the consumer or clearly personalised are exempted from the right of withdrawal (customers are offered the possibility to order a new product similar to another that is no longer in stock, by modifying at least two distinctive elements - outer leather, lining, thread colour, edge paint colour, metal hardware colour, resulting in a personalised product).

THE CONTRACTUAL RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Exceptionally, depending on the particularities of the order, ATELIER TAGLI may waive the benefit of the exemption provided by art. 16 lit. c) from O.U.G. no. 34/2014, accepting the return of the products made according to the client's specifications.

EXERCISING THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you wish to return the purchased products, you can do so within 14 calendar days of receiving the product. In order to return the products, it is necessary to send us an unequivocal statement to that effect, to the email address contact@ateliertagli.com, using as the subject of the email "Order cancellation", "Product Return" or any other equivalent expression, but clearly indicating your intention to cancel the order or return the product. You must also state in the content of the order cancellation email your name and surname, the order number and the products ordered in order to easily identify which order is to be canceled.

You can contact us in Romanian or English; we cannot respond to messages in a language other than those mentioned. 

If you do not contact us by e-mail to express your choice of return of the products, ATELIER TAGLI reserves the right to refuse the return of the products.

The product you wish to return (either as a result of exercising the legal right of withdrawal or as a result of the express acceptance of the return by us in the case of products that are exempt from return) must be in the same state in which it was delivered. (i.e. it has not been used and have no traces of wear, impact or dirt, must contain all the accessories related to the product as they were delivered to the consumer, be preferably in the original packaging (the storage box provided), be accompanied by the warranty certificate, the invoice and the receipt from the courier - if the payment method was cash on delivery, in original or in copy).

In the event that the conditions listed above are not cumulatively complied with, except for the one related to the original packaging, ATELIER TAGLI will not accept the replacement / exchange of the product with another product nor the refund of money.

If the return of the ATELIER TAGLI products will be made without presenting the original packaging (the storage box provided), we reserve the right to withhold part of the amount of money to be returned to you, i.e. in case of diminishing the value of the product by its handling (i.e. by lack of the original packaging).

After the product has returned to ATELIER TAGLI, within 5 calendar days (except weekends and legal holidays) we will carefully analyse whether the return conditions presented in this Return Policy and the Terms and Conditions found on the site are fulfilled. If we find that these conditions are fulfilled, we will contact you to determine the details of returning the money or replacing the product, as the case may be, depending on your choice.

RETURN COSTS

According to the provisions of art. 14 paragraph (2) of the O.U.G. no. 34/2014, the return costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend that the return be made with a specialised entity in this regard and that the transport is insured. As long as the products are in your care (from the moment you signed for the delivery of the products), you are responsible for returning them in the best conditions. We also recommend that you keep the proof of sending the package to us in case of a legal dispute.

MONEY REFUND

In the case of returning the product, the customer can choose the reimbursement of the money or to order another product. In the case the customer wants to change the ordered and returned product with another one available in stock,  the customer will pay the price difference or the price difference will be returned if there is a price difference between the two products. 

The reimbursement of the money will be made within 14 calendar days at the most from the date when we confirmed that the returned product may be subject to the right of withdrawal. The money is returned to the account from which the initial payment was registered, the beneficiary being the person in whose name the invoice was issued.
